As a self-employed fashion designer running my own boutique for many years whilst raising a family of four children, I was persuaded to return to college, for a Foundation Course in Art & Design. In 1994 I gained a National Diploma and decided to follow a path into the art world.
Essentially an intuitive painter I respond to texture, colour and mood. Most of my work is from my imagination, childhood memories, people I have seen in a world that sometimes seems to border on farce. I am currently working in acrylics for its fast drying quality, but also use oils, and water colour.
